We fully disclose in writing all of the terms of your loan up front so there are no surprises at closing.
Complete Pre-qualification - We budget 2 or more hours of our time to each applicant before they have signed any documents or made any commitment in order to thoroughly pre-screen your loan application. During this process we go over your credit history, property values, debts and assets in order to make sure that we are quoting you the best possible program. Also we do everything in our power to make sure that the terms quoted when you sign the Good Faith Estimate are as close as possible to the terms you will get when you close the loan and that your closing will go smoothly and happen on time.
What types of loans do you offer?
We are a full service broker; this means that we are able to offer a full range of services. We can close purchase or refinance loans, we offer conventional and non-conforming. As well as primary residences we can also offer financing on investment properties and second homes. We are able to handle FHA and VA purchases and refinances. We also have a broad range of specialty products such as no-fee loans, second mortgages, equity lines of credit, reverse mortgages, construction loans, and no down-payment purchase loans1.
How are you licensed to do business?
EquitySmart is a branch office of a large multi state lender America's Mortgage Broker. As such we are fully licensed to do business in the state of Georgia and many other states as well. Our Georgia residential mortgage licensee number is 15600 and can be viewed on the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance's website http://dbf.georgia.gov.
How long has your company been in business?
America's Mortgage Broker has been in business for 7 years. The EquitySmart branch has been operational since June 2007. America’s Mortgage Broker also operates an additional 24 branches in the State of Georgia many of which have been around for years. The combination of EquitySmart’s experienced staff and our support from America’s Mortgage Broker puts decades of experience at your service.
Pricing on a mortgage is a combination of rate and closing fees. Since we are a full spectrum mortgage provider there are many different combinations available. We strive to match the price of your loan to the program that will give you the most value. In all cases we offer our products at a fair, low price. In addition to offering good prices up front if you receive a legitimate offer from another company and the only difference is the price we will make every effort to match or beat their offer without sacrificing service and value.
